When this happened to me on my old 79 camper it turned out to be the pilot bearing on the flywheel end of the crankshaft failed and fused itself to the tranaxle input shaft.

No video but:

I run a 1776cc duel port motor stock carb 041 heads Engle w100 cam. some valve noise as expected with this cam.

Engle w 110 best on lower displacement motors with duel carburetion.

You don't want to be removing the adjusting rings anyway unless you have some reason to dig into the transmission further, their adjustment is critical and should be left as is in most cases. YMMV

Slightly larger than stock tires do the same thing as a taller ratio gearbox, but without the gear gaps, without removing the engine, and for less than half the cost.
