The battery tender can kill your battery too if the output voltage is too high. I suggest you check that. To be save, build this battery charger :

If you do not have a welder but you do have a reversible drill, the easier way is to drill it out with a left hand drill bit. It will probably unscrew itself out after less than a minute.

The bellows in the throttle actuator has a hole in it. Otherwise it seems fine. Is patching it with a bicycle inter tube kit a great idea or a horrible idea?
