Ceramic coating isnít cheap, your muffler will be over $200, probably closer to $250.

Iíd imagine the intake will be about a $100

Powder coat will bubble and fall off on exhaust and the heater riser tubes on the intake manifold

If you want the coating to last, ceramic coat is the only way to go...but then it wonít be stock. ...

Just one tip, RTV sealants very greatly. Black is a good choice, but they do make a gray specifically for gear oil.

Always make sure you have matching axle tubes and bearing caps. A lot of times ...

Is the door post salvageable? If so, any 56-64 rear qtr should fit. You will see differences the fender nuts, but those can be changed (or left alone, alignment will be same)

3000 rpms is normal...these cars are much louder than modern cars.

The higher rpms cool the motor as well.

The early 36hp engines were designed to run at 3400rpms all day long

You could buy short manifolds...or use a foam air cleaner over your stacks

Yes, in the 60ís some European countries banned the semaphores and made everyone convert to these. There are seversl different versions

I put them on my 54, just liked the look versus semaphores and rare to see on US cars as they were made for European market.

Satin is close to the original finish

There are definitely threads on here discussing it.

If youíre looking for close to stock, go with Satin. The exact sheen can only be done with mixing pain ...

The Samba picture above, is the very early heater boxes...pre-51 and are made by a gentleman in Poland.

The CIP1 link are matches for post 58 boxes...but will still work.

If your funds allow, you can throw in a 69.5mm crank and Okrasa or other cam and still run the stock manifold with a 30mm carb. It would provide significant torque increase.
