Why not make/use an adapter plate on a 5 speed EV transmission? No special axles or shifter cables required.

Or, if you're really adventurous I've seen threads on other forums where two transmissi ...

I just picked one of these up on the weekend for my Whitestar. I found it while looking at cheap tent trailers.

Looks to need a good cleaning and the latches are rusty. I was happy to pay $100 CDN ...

rust forming around tailgate, a little at the windsh ...

With one pic (without any of the pertinent bits showing) and a two sentence description do you really expect anyone to be able to give a decent answer?

Take pictures of each of the mounting bars, e ...

What I think some of you are missing is that a little bit of rust isn't going to keep the new owner from using the van for what it was designed to do...go camping.

Everybody has their own preferen ...

With the descriptions provided they were easy enough to find

The one you describe as rusty doesn't look that bad to these East coast eyes. The rust won't stop you from camping in it.

I have the bigger version. I really like how compact it packs up, especially compared to the Bus Depot Add a Room tent. It would be even better if it came with individual bags for the awning and side/ ...

I concur about the gearing being the biggest drawback. It's a strange feeling watching the tach read 3800-4000 RPM while cruising on the highway.

I currently have a '89 Wolfsburg and find the power ...

You can do much better.

I'm not sure where you are in MA but you might consider looking in Canada for a Vanagon.

Your US $ is worth 40% more in Canada. So a $3000 US budget would get you a $4200 ...
