Cranks and cams are intended to rotate so no problem there. If you think they are out of time with each other then you will have to split the case to know for sure or just run it.

the cam, lifters, push rods and rockers are all designated either solid or hydraulic. Mixing them up is the wrong idea.

I would check the ground strap on the tranny nose.

Parking brake on. trans in first gear, grease the shaft and file out the splines on the clutch disc especially if its new.
