ha, i did the same with my 10k ones, i was trying to add a pot to adjust the temp sensor and should have gotten 1k pots, because 10k was either nothing or too much Smile

no it's the 4 pulse version (or should be) but it's on a syncro speedo. i knew i could have goes back to CV mounted, but i just really don't want to.

ok, so funny update to this thread. I had tested this on a country road near my house and all was well, but this past weekend I took it on a longer trip and soon realized a problem with my set up.

+1 on the fastforward VSS, the CV attached ones suck, the one i had on my zetec sucked, and the one i put on from small car for my dbw 2.5 sucked.

could both sucky things have been user error? sure ...

How many tire changes did you need over the 24 hours? And at what pressures?

When towing the van, do you need to tie the steering wheel so it stays straight, or simply unlock and let the wheels turn as they wish. I would think you would need to strap the wheel.

i weighed mine once, with a custom rear bumber, zetec motor, sound mat throughout, big brakes, rear disc, it weighed in at exactly 4000lbs.

not sure how much gas it had at the time. but i think 37 ...
