Well, sheers. That helped. I shimsed the door up eith a coin. It closes now, but is still bulging out at the bottom, it needs a little more. I try to get hold of some proper shims

Thanks, mate. It closed perfectly without the trim, but you are right, the door is too low or the trim too high.
I shortened the trim to just below original lenght and that doesnít make a difference. ...

It was a faulty ignition switch. I replaced it with an aftermarket switch and it is working ok again, but I would prefer a proper NOS one.

Any ides where to get one for a 68-70 bus/type1/type3?

Itís out. Somebody had removed the screw and used a wedge instead in the bottom of the hole Embarassed

The size, slates are longer. The shape, its lower than split. The size of the clamps, they are larger than late split clamps.
