There was someone selling a full fuel injection ...

Also, 2 fuel filters isn't a good idea. I think you have the same chances as needing 0 as you do of needing 6 if you indeed have a contamination problem. Given how small and cheap they are, take a ha ...

Also did you have thin or thick gasket?

The general thesis behind Colin's tuning procedure is that you want the carbs slightly lean, and the central idle slightly rich to compensate. Of course this is all designed around the DVDA distribut ...

Jason where did you find the crucial rubber seals for around the top openings of the carbs to the breather box arms???

Those are the correct original ones -- the sides are flat with ribs in them. ...

What does the one in the other carb look like? Something looks weird about that float -- may just be a knock off or simply just swollen, or the tab has been bent to try to get the float right. Once ...

Post pictures please. Are you saying the float is rubbing on the side of the bowl opposite of the metal tab?

Is the metal tab in place on both carbs above the float arm? Also, the float could simp ...

The section of the carb body between the bowl and intake is really thin (especially compared to the gasket) so if its warped at all that could be it too.

Tim & Volkzbitz is who to send them to ...

Also, snap a picture when you remove the lid, I'd like to see if you have original floats, and what gasket it is.

Most of the aftermarket rebuild kits for these carbs are complete crap -- it's qui ...

Either your float is wrong, needle valve is leaking, or the mating surface is warped. Is it actually coming out of the pressed in air correction jet or is it possibly just dribbling down the top of i ...

Here is what I'd do:

0) Verify the floats are correct in the carbs and needle valves are working
1) Get a new, functioning idle cut off valve / solenoid
2) Verify there are no air leaks -- be ver ...

Your central idle solenoid could be not functioning.
Your central idle cir ...
