Flip the valve cover bale over so the nibs are pointing down. That way the bale will be level from the pocket to the valve cover.

Well guys, I was able to adjust some non-critical high points on the head casting and was able to get some tin to fit a little better. As seen in this picture, there is still about 3/16 in. gap where ...
