KAmes, how did you keep the rpm’s from stalling at stoplights?

I set the idle a little high, about 950 rpm. When the compressor comes on it drops to about 800 rpm, still enough to stay idlin ... |

What you need is a "Dual pully" on the crank, Stock size for alt. and smaller one for compressor or try a "Power pully" (it's smaller than stock) which would let the motor handle t ... |

On the subject of fire damage, I installed my Blazecut fire extinguishing thingy. It's placement was highly influenced by those three bolts already being there.
