Another consideration when deciding which fuel type your heater will use are the exhaust fumes.
Propane burns very clean with no smell. Can't really say the same for diesel or petrol.

It's great for long stays.
You can get different hoses if you just want to use 1lb bottle. Although for "truth in advertising" not sure if the 1lb bottle has enough pressure to overcome ...
