I have not used one, but I installed the kit.
We had clearance issues w a stock spindle. We also had a hard time finding longer studs. Needed wheel spacers, I would go elsewhere. To note, this was with 14" wheels. 15" would probably made it easier, I would not use them on my Bus. Spend more, get more. _________________ kaiser kills kids.com |

I run the EMPI front disk kit on my stock 67 with 14" wheels...
Bolted straight on with no mods or issues.... it uses exactly the same calipers, pads etc as the significantly more expensive CSP kit - just the disks/hubs themslves are sighlty different on the CSP.
I'm happy with them over the stock drums, had too many scary brake fades down long steep hills and frequent brake shoe adjustments to stop brake pull to one side. |

I run the CSP kit on my 63 Subhatch Westy, but just installed the EMPI kit on my sons 66 Tintop SO-42 and I honestly can not tell the difference in stopping performance. The EMPI kit bolted on in about 30 minutes. Very simple, no issues. _________________ Turbo_g

I have CSP on my 58 and empi on my 56. As mentioned above they are the same calipers and pads. I will say I changed the bearings on the empi kit. Cheap China bearings came with the kit
On another note. The CSP hubs have no way of removing the races if you have to change the bearings. The Empi hub has slots so you can get a punch and remove the races.
No difference in stopping _________________ SOUTHERN INTEGRITY AIRCOOLERS
