Does anyone know what color the factory Primer was ?
We're all Things ( Mexico) painted with the same color/type primer ...or did it differ 73 vs 74. ?

I know it's a weird question....but these are weird cars.

Thanks guys & gals

The NOS body panels I have collected over the years have been a variety of shades of grey. They have varied between a pretty light grey to darker shades. There doesn't appear to be a rhyme or reason that I could discern. The shade variations exist for both Mexican and German panels. A lot of exhaust parts are more of a greenish blue-grey that I haven't had much luck in trying to match. I can only think of one exception to the grey primer theme, which was a black 74+ muff/wader-box/hamster-cheek, which had a factory part number sticker on it so I am certain it wasn't a repaint.
