Cigarette Lighter

Has anyone seen a lighter like this before? I wish the pictures were better. All I know is it’s a Champ brand. Google images brings up lots of VW Champ lighters, but nothing that looks this aged or with this image.
Is it just one of the millions of licensed (or unlicensed) products that have been on the market over the years, or is it something cooler?

I had a lighter like that in the mid 1960s. It was manufactured by a company called Bentley and used a replaceable butane cartridge, It was supposedly "windproof" and was sold as a lighter primarily for pipes and cigars. Don't know about the VW connection to the product.

Thanks for finding that. I guess the question is answered then.

This one was being sold by a collector who seemed to have a lot of old / unique lighters in his collection. That's the reason I thought it might be old and unique as well, but I guess not.
