Hi! i'm restoring my 1961 beryl green ragtop bug. now it's time for the sunroof. i was looking for an used or nos vinyl, but it's impossible to find, so i decide to dye a white repro vinyl. i read here that i can dye with Sem products, anyone can explain how? and has anyone dye a sunroof in beryl green with the exact products? because i didn't find anything similar to beryl green in the SEM vinyl color chart.
greetings from italy! _________________ 1956 strato silver L227 ragtop

SEM dye products are tint-able to whatever color you want. Contact your local paint shop/distributor of SEM and ask them about color-matching.
keep in mind the sunroof color is a bit darker than the body

SEM hasn’t a distributor here in Italy. Do you know how can I get their products? Thank you _________________ 1956 strato silver L227 ragtop

I went on there this week looking at what material was available and there isn't much. Black and white was it I believe. Maybe it's a special request. _________________ '67 Beetle L41

They made one for me in 2013, I did not ask after the material. Before I did contact them at all, I chose three pin point vinyl from the Haartz Company by myself and told them what to use. Search after "pinpoint vinyl" and "Haartz" at google picture search. In your case, it could be 1357ST Medium Green.
In my case it was for a pearl white car. I chose three different white colour codes from Haartz, KHM ordered them and had let them sent to me so I could compare. Then I chose one and ordered at KHM.
The ragtops from KHM are outstanding and the ONLY ones in the world, that have heated seams and therfore are factory spec and have a good fitment. It takes some time to investigate, and also money but I would do it again and again. Never would use these stitched covers.
After a quick search: Only one sheet of some more existing:
