Can someone help me out here? Is the REAR wheel arch trim for a 73/74 412 the same for both a wagon (variant) and a 4 door sedan? Or... do they have different arch angles?
Thanks very much. _________________ 1973 412 Wagon

Ok.....in a nutshell...ll years and car types use the same wheel arch trim. We know this because none of the part numbers are chassis number specific...and teh model codes at the end of the line cover pretty much everything. I think the only options ere not having any.
There are six parts #'s....three for each side.
The front wheel complete arch is a single part #. The rear arches are the forward stone guard which is a seperate part and the rear wheel arch trim.

Resurrecting an old thread here but i have these two items. They look very similar and have no identifying part number that I can see, but the clips do - 411 853 820
These are NOS and only removed from the rather tatty plastic sleeves for the pictures.
Anyone identify them?

What I did worked out perfect. I had all mine but they were dented from door dings and other scratches…but not bent. I have a metal restorer in town that does this type of restoration work. I got them all back in NOS condition. If you find the right person you can restore what you have. Finding new or even used trims is very difficult.

Hello,
Looks to me like you have two right hand side front wheel arch trim strips, for 411 412.
Best Regards,

Thanks Rob - Mike has confirmed this too, and the trims will soon be travelling from Scotland to a new home in Germany. _________________ 67 Beetle
