An inordinate amount of time, Finster. Ha! The true story is that in the early 90's, my best VW buddy told me he saw this and while I thought it was interesting that a Bus was featured, I didn't go out of my way to track the movie down until recently when I thought about celebrities with VWs, so I Googled it and found it. Now I know there's a practical use for a nose-mounted spare tire on a Bus. I've never favored nose-mounted spare tires. |

I just heard on the radio, that Ron is suffering from dementia and is in a home where he thinks he’s shooting an adult film and the nurses are the cast. He’s probably faking the illness to avoid all the sexual harassment changes pending against him.

When he came to the US from Mexico to pursue being a Nascar driver, he was in a Beetle.
I've not met the guy but he's friends with people I know and they all say he's a cool guy.
Despite growing up in the South I never gave two shits about nascar but I find myself checking results now just to see how he's doing.
