I would just go to a junkyard and get something off a newer car or van. Most of that stuff is similar and if not a direct replacement, it should be easily adapted. |

I found a free set on Craigslist from a Delica for my 76 Westy and used a set from a Honda Civic for my 73 Panel in the past. _________________ *******************************

Nice kit, but the B-pillar shoulder mounting needs longer bolts and spacers to hang right. |

The longer bolt at the top/shoulder mount will let the eyelet swivel, which it must do to fit correctly. Mine hangs at an odd angle, so I'll be checking for longer, sleeved/stepped bolts. I may have some lying around, I just haven't bothered yet. The belts and latched seem well made, and they fit the Bus. |

for the front, these are very nice
https://bus-ok.nl/Type2-Bay-Automatic-Safety-Belt-...45m-lenght
listen to gary - you want to make sure they are extra long - for example, the linked ones are 136" ..
the length is needed ... you know, if you want to ever roll your passenger side window up and down .. or properly do your "bus-driver lean" on the steering wheel when you're hanging out in traffic .. if you are not rocking a dad bod, and can still wear clothes from H&M in normal sizes, then maybe you can get by with the 3.2m belt ... YMMV, but i would go with the 3.45m every time .. i've tried shorter
you will also want the receiver to be rigid or semi rigid, and a minimum of about 12" long (just a tad longer is ok too)
you may need some hardware (particularly, the angle metal used mounting the reel)
similar to these https://bus-ok.nl/Type2-bay-cab-seat-belt-brackets-pair-VW-bay-867-779-OEM-partnr211809257
this is a nice, standard style manual adjustable rear belt ..
Securon brand, very nice quality
https://bus-ok.nl/Rear-Lap-Seatbelt-for-All-T2-and-T3
if you want to go 3 point or retractable in the rear, things get a little a bit more complicated
there are reproductions of the Swedish market rear 3 pt brackets, if you want to fit retractable 3 pt belts in the back. they are relatively straightforward on a full width bench in a non-camper, for the outer 2 seating positions. anything other than that gets more complicated. the center seating position will still get a lap belt with the rear 3 pts.
you can get the 3pt brackets here
https://www.heritagepartscentre.com/us/catalogsearch/result/?q=belt%20bracket
ReproWesty also makes a 3 pt bracket for the closet side of the Berlin interior (e.g. 76-79 US Westie), if that's something that might tickle your fancy |

This is one of a pair of Kangol "Reflex" inertia-reel seat belts, retro-fitted to my British specification, 1973 VW "1600" Type 2 Westfalia Continental motor-caravan, which I salvaged at the local car breaker's yard during the mid-1990s, from a 1970s vintage BLMC Triumph Toledo or Dolomite, of the same type as fitted to my British specification, 1974 BLMC Triumph Toledo 1300 "HL Special".
The female belt buckles from the Toledo or Dolomite would have been much too short, so I salvaged some longer compatible ones on steel-wire stalks, that were fitted in the front cab of a Ford Transit van, which had Kangol static seat belts.
For a neater installation, I had supplementary seat-belt mounting points, welded onto the back of the bulkheads and front wheel-arches, bridging the seat pedestals forming the tops of the front wheel-arches.

I am not sure how these rear seat-belt mountings from VW Parts Heritage in England would be used, but the prices of $153.95 each are horrendous!

I am not sure whether these are exact reproductions of the supplementary rear seat-belt mountings, factory-fitted to Swedish specification, 1968~79 VW Type 2s!
