Here is yet another version, the one I have hanging in my garage for the past several decades. Note "Bosch Germany" (versus "Robert Bosch") and the cool Bosch spark plug illustration on the doors.

Is there any may to estimate a date for these cabinets based on appearance, logos, interior accoutrements and layout, etc. Perhaps a catalog or part number? I don't have any catalogs for these cabinets, but I'll bet one of you wonderful "wackos" out there has a pile of 'em to glean through!

Nice job Casey! Great collection of Bosch parts inside too! I have LOTS of Bosch boxed parts in the basement, maybe I'll have to reload my cabinet out in the garage and find another place for the generic supplies in there now! Where in Illinois are you? My seven car garage is in St. Charles, Missouri.

Wow Lind, perhaps I have the older "Foreign" version! Thanks for the tip!

Mine had been used in a local VW independent shop for years, and had the normal shop "grime" coating on it. But a while back I gave the finish a quick wipe with wax & grease remover and once completed the paint and finish came alive again.
