I would be surprised if you got a response here. Perhaps try Vic Skirmants as he has messed with a few aircraft engines over his 60 year Porsche career.

Yeah I'm just looking for specs or maybe get my hands on one of the drysumps so I can make repops for my vintage speed engines and that 678/4 dry sump pump fits right in to the vw 36hp and 40hp cases .... |

That sounds like a really cool project. Frank Barrett rebuilt and restored one of those engines and showed it at a Porsche parade about 15 years ago. Knowing him he will likely have all the documentation that you would need. Like I said, he lives in Colorado and is the president of Toad Hall Motorbooks so he should be easy to find online and contact. Good luck! _________________ Sebastian Gaeta
