To get there I just leave my house, drive 15 miles, and turn West on I-70 or use I-70/68/64/70 if I want scenery. 
I stop near St. Louis for the first night. Usually at a Walmart about 25 miles before STL. West side of Kansas or Denver for night two, again at a Walmart. Then Moab day three, or four if I stop in Denver to visit family.
I have no issue using Walmarts when I am logging miles and not smelling roses. Can't beat the price and they have good bathrooms and any provisions I need.

All signed up. No longer a Syncro owner but the friendships that I have made over the years is why I still love to come and see everyone.
I am not sure which rig I will drive this year. But I will be there.

do y'all do things like Tech Sessions at SS? or is it just a camp and romp get together?
there's sooooo many things that could be done with minimal facilities other than maybe a table and some beverages...
- 15 minute check thru when "My Van Won't Start"
- how to check fuel pump pressure and volume
- Your Distributor and You
- how to measure voltage drop
- front wheel bearings: repack or replace
- How to Bleed your Cooling System without blood loss
- Line 'em Up: Subie, Bostig, WBX underhood inspection
- 1/2 hour clutch pedal R&R: Snort!!
- Heads and Valves and Guides, Oh My!
just a smattering of ideas for tech sessions that might be of interest and instructed by attendees.

Registration is only open for past attendees currently. They were sent emails.
In a couple days it will open to everyone and a non FB link will be available.
