Okay so I bought 3x5 micro stub trailing arms and I can’t decide what micro stub brake kit I want the Jamar kit is $2200 witch is a little out of my budget so I was going to go with the Latest rage brand for $1400 witch is a nice kit but doesn’t come with a center cap, then there’s the Empi kit with wilwood brakes like $1600 and now I just came across RBP brand with wilwood brakes for $1400 that look very nice very close to the Jamar kit, do you guys know or used any of these micro stub kits and have reviews, also has any know any thing about the RBP kit?

Brakes are not something that you want to cut corners on when you plan on driving on the street too.
The JaMar setup is one of the best. They actually test their parts.

Okay so I think I figured it out, the $1,400 hits have a 24 spline stub axle witch is small than the 33 spline $2200 kit, and the 24T spline is rated for roughly 250hp and the 33 spline is rate red for roughly 1000hp

I am using the JaMar setup on my Manx buggy with LaserInovation +1 trailing arms. I also am using Wilwood mechanical calipers for a E-brake.
The wheel spacer I had to add for tire to clear the shock body. Also replaced wheel studs for thicker wheels I am using.

Honestly this may sound weird but, I use single piston floating rear calipers from a chevy cruz,. They have a park brake built in, they work well on single mass disc. And offer better wheel clearance then dual/four piston calipers. You do have to built custom mounting tabs but for the average buggy guy that's pretty easy

Let us know how it works out. I use some of Latest Rage parts knowing they are made in China are not of the best quality. I am using their Combo Spindles knowing that the link pin bushing fit loose in them then more expensive spindles.
One thing JaMar does is check every micro stub axle to see if it will break. When I bought my setup from them, I had to wait an extra month to get them as they had a bad batch that were breaking. They test everything before selling it to the public.
The Empi/ Latest Rage 930 stock type stub axles had a major breaking problem several years ago were they breaking on street driven vehicles. You are the quality control inspector of their parts they sell. No warranty.
