Are you talking about the clip that goes onto the black lock mechanism cover? It goes at the top, and clips into the door before the black glass run channel goes in. Looks like an "S" shaped clip?

The “S” clip.
But I think the clip Andy is enquiring about may be the scraper clip.

The only mark on the door that could be the shape of that clip was at the rear end of the inner scraper.
The scraper is mainly anchored by the spring clips.
How many clips are there per door?

Thanks for the picture! There is 1 clip per door.

So does the clip go over the scraper wire? or over the scraper rubber? or over the black window channel arm piece?

Looks like a corresponding mark on the black window channel.

Yup, that the inner rear scraper clip hole. Keep in mind that the inner scraper uses the long wire, versus the triangular clips like the outer scraper uses. Page 18 (I think) of my 71 Notch rebuild might show the clips and rebuilding of the doors. I prefer to use the original type 3 wire, and the type 3 triangles as they actually fit correctly.
