there should be no problem for the beetle, but I can't imagine it for the ghia

for Ghias From January 3rd, 1958, the models for export are equipped with anti-collision bumpers.

the legal According to regulations, the exterior mirror is part of the standard equipment for VW limousines for the German market from October 19, 1956 (cabriolet from October 23). The mirror on the more expensive Karmann Ghia had to be paid for up until 1961.
