One of the headlight assemblies on my '55 beetle is missing a long screw and spring that you can see in this CIP ad for an out of stock part.

Any ideas where these might be available? I purchased a part from WW that was for the wrong housing with screws that were much too long. I believe that the part number for my headlight assembly is 111941037.
Thanks! |

Well, I am still on a quest for a replacement screw and spring for my headlight assembly. The CIP part mentioned above came back in stock and I got it but the screws and spring are too short. (In my original post I incorrectly stated that the WW parts were too long, they are also too short.) My best guess is that I have the American styles assembly but available parts are for the European styles. The American styles has both of the screws at the bottom of the assembly https://www.wolfsburgwest.com/cart/DetailsList.cfm?ID=111941037
while the European has one at top and one at bottom diagonal to each other

Any ideas where to find a part number and/or source for the correct part for a US import 1955 Beetle? |

Thanks Jacks. This looks like a good lead, but my screws are even longer than that ... about 90-95mm!! But I will check out that site to see if they have what I need.
The screws in the kit that I bought are about 58mm.

H1 Porsche headlamps use those very long adjustment screws
John Audette handles them
