|
|
He guys, I'm in Southern California and I am looking for the best places to buy any parts for a 1967 Karmann Ghia coupe. Can someone list some websites or stores I can look into?
I'm in need of a lot of things, my priority is the original front seats for the 67. It currently has the high back seats off a 68.
I appreciate all the info! Thank You. |

There are no aftermarket reproduction seats. If you need seats, you'll have to look through the classifieds and find someone selling originals.
67 seats, while they look the same as earlier lowbacks, were technically one-year-only because they had a cable mechanism that attached to the door, which was an early safety mechanism that locked the seat from being able to be folded forward while the doors were closed. _________________ Currently own:

I used to own a '67. There's a whole load of parts that are one-year-only for that model year. Have fun _________________ Currently own:

If the seat-back release cables are missing from your car (fairly likely), you can fit low-back seats from any pre-'68 Ghia. They all use the same tracks. _________________ '63 Ragtop (current)
