on an amazon ad for Gas one stoves
and I use these lil butane stoves for when I want to cook outside the van.
I like the use/function of the butane better than the propane stove&bottles. esp when cold out.

I have one of those gas one units
Really nice, they accept the smaller butane bottles or the green propane bottles |

Just saw this on the REI website. They're always using Vanagon images.

Yea that one is definitely a vanagon, but I think the headlights here are a giveaway.

One of the top men a VW Germany passed recently. In the obit in the NY Times they had a photo of him. It was a fairly close shot, head and upper torso, but what looks very much like a Vanagon power mirror is in the image. So I'd bet a lot that he was sitting in a metallic blue Vanagon. Sorry don't have a link to the article. _________________ 1989 Campmobile, 1984 7 passenger beater Vanagon

It wasn't, but easily could have been, me. I've been so close to getting the van and our old Jetta stuck in that part of the country on so many occasions.
One thing is for sure though - if I EVER have to call a tow company, especially MOR, I would change out of the alien costume that that guy was wearing before anyone showed up with a camera. _________________ '91 Westfalia GL Automatic (GTA "Turbo" Rebuild w/Peloquin) and 2.3L GoWesty Engine |

Blue and white Vanagon in John Wick: Chapter 4. The whole theatre was laughing at the scene, while I was just smiling for seeing a T3 appear in one of my favorite movie franchises.
Sorry about the bad quality, but all I could find after seeing the movie in the theatre. _________________ '89 tintop SA Syncro, 2.0L Golf IV engine |
