I'm preparing to weld on my beetle,

What electrical precautions should I take, Ill remove the battery and completely disconnect the alarm control module, put the ground right next to where we are welding , any other risks, relays, regulator, started motor? etc., I should think about?

THANKS.

Disconnecting or removing the battery is fine on old stuff.

Not much to fry on old bugs. That is why after a nuclear EMP attack you will see plenty of beetles running around!
