You'll make it and be back on the road soon. Looks nice. _________________ “Most people don’t know what they’re doing, and a lot of them are really good at it.” - George Carlin |

I was just telling Cathy how beautiful some of the restorations are on cabinets and other things. Some of these buses look new. _________________ “Most people don’t know what they’re doing, and a lot of them are really good at it.” - George Carlin |

My unrestored 1968 Clipper L. Third owner, since 1993. Got it in high school as my first car and never let go.

Wow, so many nice busses! Thank you for the kind words, guys!

I originally got that from Bus Depot probably 20 or so years ago. I think that it was called an add a room tent. With 4 kids, it was absolutely necessary!
We don't use it anymore since everyone wants to drive their own cars or sleep in their own tent.
I would like to get a side awning these days. But, yes, many fond or funny memories... One time we got caught in a hurricane camping at Cape May NJ with that tent and it survived that OK, another time a big storm blew in while camping on the beach at Assateague Island, that was wild!
I can't wait to get back out. _________________ Mark

I’ve speculated before, the Adventiure wagon club gives us a look at the percentage of surviving Bays. With a known run of 500 cars and 100 in the membership , a good estimate lower limit for survival is probably 20% , subject to a rash of assumptions _________________ .ssS! |

This is picture is quite a few years old. It is the first time I ever drove my Bus, after having owned it for 10+ years. Weather will be nice this week so hoping to pull it out of the garage in the next day or so. Hope you’ve all been well, this is my first to TS in quite awhile. Life has been getting in the way of fun.
And of course the obligatory covered bridge photo.

Ohh..this is heart breaking. I don't think you have ever posted a photo of yourself Steve. I feel as if I just witnessed the unmasking of Batman. |
I had a similar thought, but it was more along the lines of when Kiss went on stage without their makeup. _________________ - 1977 CEI Sunroof Bus 2.0L F.I. Hydraulic Lifters

Thanks. I picked a good day to return. Lots of awesome Bus pictures in this thread, both from familiar users and some whom I’ve never ‘met’ previously. _________________ - 1977 CEI Sunroof Bus 2.0L F.I. Hydraulic Lifters
