I'm finally mounting new tires on my '65 bug (the current tires are dated 1988!). Going from tubes to tubeless. Can I still run the same pressure I've been running (20 front and 28 rear)?
Thanks. _________________ '65 Sunroof Bug |

Yes. _________________ “If you care for a thing long enough, it takes on a life of its own, doesn't it? Mending old things, preserving them, looking after them – on some level there's no rational grounds for it.”

Me too. Actually, it's only the spare that has a tube. It has a 4 digit date code of 1988 (Pirelli). The other 4 are Dunlop tubeless with a 3 digit date code of 458, so technically I think they could be 1978 or 1988. New tires are Vredstein Sprint Classic. I'm going with 155's vs 165's that are on the car now. _________________ '65 Sunroof Bug |
