I had the same 66 back in 1995
181 front beam and reduction box gearbox with LSD differential
There was a body lift between chassis and body
16" split wheels with Firestone tyres

Then I build a 67 panel split T2
front beam and rear axle were removed and the split chassis was bolted/welded to a 72 bay window chassis.

My last off road, a 74 181.

Playing in the mud was fun, wish I have kept the T2
