We can't ever know what I mean or what you mean since it's "an abstract concept"... you know what I mean? Err, well, I guess not since what I mean and what you mean could be very different because words don't actually have meaning and truth behind them anymore. But, we're both still right as long as we each *feel* that we're right so it's all good, right?
Destroying definitions and remaking words to fit your own ideas and reasoning is a great way to expedite mental health issues, the logical part of the brain has a real hard time dealing with that. You absolutely cannot say and actually believe "there is no such thing as truth" because in reality you truly believe that there is no truth, or else you wouldn't have said it. If there is no truth then you must believe that everything you know is a lie,and if you know its a lie you obviously wouldn't believe it. But, of course we won't convince ourselves that we believe a lie so we redefine what a "lie" is and what "truth" is so it dulls down the logical part of the brain that's screaming about believing such a contradiction. Dulling down the logical part of the brain is bad.
Simple logic says there has to be truth, yet because words are so twisted now it's not simple to a lot of people. And we wonder why we have a mental health crisis... the mental gymnastics required to go against simple logic and the consequences of doing so are astounding yet its encouraged now in so many ways.

youre conflating things here. 'words' and their study is semiotics. the concept (which is also an abstract idea) of a word is sometimes a fixed object, such as an apple. i can show you a thousand apples and each one is different but they are all still apples. however i can show you what i think the idea of 'right' is and it can be very differnet from yours, they are both still 'right'. do you not see that? also i said that 'truth' is an abstract idea , that does not mean that i dont think it exists, in fact it does not 'exist' like that apples does but it certainly is real, just like 'funny' you may not laugh at a joke and others may think its the funniest thing theyve heard. funny isnt 'real' either its not a tangible thing, you cant weigh it. but you can weigh an apple.

| Truth is truth......and lies is lies! It really is that simple. Just because alot of word usage has been used here is total bullshit. Truth or lies came with a rapid slap in the mouth by my father in less than a second. He didnt wait around to hear a bunch of crap , he just acted and USUALLY he was right. |
