Hi there peeps i have a 1975 911s motor that orginally had 165hp but i have removed the old exaust and plugged up the thermo reactors on the heads i have replaced the cis injection with carbs and i installed headers. Does anyone know with the mods i have done what kind of hp i should be getting now? |

You don't say what carbs, are they 3 barrel Webbers? |

The carb'ed motor was rated at 168HP so you will need performance exhaust to up your HP. |

Which heat exchangers? It makes a difference. 74 and earlier where each side exits to the muffler, or the later kind where you only have one input to the muffler. |

Get a Bursch Extractor Quiet Muffler to help those Webers breathe. |

I do have the bursh muffler. So what kind of HP i should be putting out with this set up? |

With CIS Cams? Even though he has early exhaust, that seems optimistic for a 2.7 with Non S Cams.
Either way, a 2.7 will be a fun engine in a 914. _________________ When I set my timing, why do I flush, then take a pee? |

you will have to reset the cam timing for the cis 2.7 to run optimally with the carbs. |
