Over the years I have been collection California focused 1950's-1960's VWoA Volkswagen Club of California items. There were clubs all of the US that were established by contacting VWoA & asking to start your own local club. VWoA would sanction the local club & help them create a badge design. Most of the clubs look to have either just fell apart or were all rolled into the VVWCA.
Over the years I found & sold off other state badges but I kept all of the Volkswagen Club of California dash plaques. I also have one VW Club of Detroit dash plaque.
I recently found some Volkswagen Club of Sacramento items. There is a badge, patches, & dash plaques.
If anyone has more of these items from any of the clubs across the US during this time frame, please post them here. I think it would be great to see this part of VW history cataloged in one place.

You may be confusing VoA with the Volkswagen Club of America. Although they were closely associated, The Volkswagen Club of America was independent from Volkswagen of America. In fact, in the early days, VoA tried to discourage people from forming clubs! The VCoA would help to establish charter clubs throughout the U.S.

I just picked up a couple more VW Club Sacramento dash plaques, a VW Club Sacramento 1st place race award & a VW club of California dash plaque.
