The numbers "4 65" is for April 1965 I believe. I'm not 100% sure, but it does not look like it matches the 65 Ghias.

I’m wondering if this is from a Type 3 Ghia - I don’t recall the early Ghias having the shift pips.

Is this for a KG oil bath setup? It looks to be but I've not seen the exact same part in the classifieds or on a google image search?

Thanks all.

I know what this is and I know where it goes, but what years and which side?
The metal screen is about 6" wide, 3" high, 4 1/2" deep.
Maybe it's left over from when I owned a '61? I had a '70, but those screens were plastic.

The ones with an upper case "L" go on the left side. The ones with an upper case "R" go on the right side. Wink
It looks a little bent, i have a couple that are more rectangular. I couldnt get the 3rd screw out to determine L or R, one way the screw holes line up, the other fits but screw holes dont line up. Sorry not more help Chuck. Maybe once the "Blaster" seeps in...

There is no "L".
There is no "R".
There are no screw holes.
It might be slightly bent, but the lower right corner is 90 degrees (+/- 15 minutes) while the included angle of the lower left corner is 60 degrees.
EDIT: this must be left (driver's) side isn't it?

That is for the driver's side. It's for a low light Ghia. 60 on up Ghias had rectangular openings on the screens.

Really struggling with this torsion bar/rod.

Its 59cm/23.25 inches long and approx. 1.5 inches max diameter.

and I can't think what it would fit. Is it a late Ghia part please?

I know these look familiar but not having a car to run over to check, I can't think of what these knobs are for?

The edge trim for the kick board. passenger and driver footwell.

Discussed here, for a "66 but should be very similar to your '68
