I bought a set of engine/transmission mounts to install on my 1995 2.5 gas engine manual-tranny EVC, but the existing driver-side mount looks different from the new part. The supplier said they're interchangeable, and all online resources seem to say the new one will fit, but I'm not convinced. The new part has an oval metal protrusion at the bottom with a pair of tabs on it, but I can't see any matching holes on the bracket where it goes. At least, nothing is visible from below. Before I go to the hassle of taking out the old part, I'd appreciate any wisdom on whether the new part -- #701199201H -- is interchangeable with the existing, original 701199201D.
Thanks!

Based on the part numbers given, you have revived the correct mount. The tabs ride a slot on the bracket it bolts to. For the most part, that mount works for both the drivers and passenger side, except in the case when you have a one piece mount/bracket on the tranny side, that are permanently fixed together. It would be unusual if you did, but they do exist for the 95 and earlier.

Thanks Joshwa. I guess I'll have to take it out to be sure. I've done some research on ETKA and it seems my van falls into a black hole. EtKA seems to say 92-94 had the H-suffix mount, and 1996-1997 had the H, but 1995 could be either H or D. And of course mine's the D
