Is everyone running the WW 36hp stroker cranks taking apart and adding the push rod shims that come with the cranks? Anyone have any issues if they did or didn't add the shims? Instead of the shims has anyone added some brand of swivel foot adjuster or valve lash caps? Please let me know your experiences and opinion for best option.

I used a AAperformance 2 piece lifters, 5/16 chromoly push rods cut to length, AAperfromance 1.15:1 ratio rockers modified for elephant foot adjusters, cb performance elephant foot adjusters and made sold shaft bolt together rocker shafts. I am also using a 74mm crankshaft.

Scotty, why are a few of the pushrods rubbed shiny? Were they rubbing?
I ask as I have the same parts sitting for my next build.

No they weren’t rubbing. That was before they were installed. I had cleaned up a couple nicks on them.

Thanks for the reply. Did you run the stock WW valve springs or did you use something else? If so, what springs did you use? If you used stock WW springs have you experienced any valve float at high RPM using the 2 piece lifter and Chromoly push rods as they more than double the weight of the stock once piece lifter.
