155 15 tire

Priority Tires has cheap whitewalls for 83 bucks each but i only see 165 and 155 sizes. Do you guys think a 155 on the front will rub with a stock beam, drums and drop spindles?

I think the 155 -15 tyres were the metric size tyres that VW installed on beetles when they went to optional radial ply tyres in the early 1970s but 165 tyres fit though you may have trouble fitting one in the spare wheel slot,depending on the brand selected.

155 was the stock size, it should rub less than the 165's most use nowadays
