I'm wondering if this is for a Bay as there's 2x different types of connections (to the wiper motor). They're RHD probably as I'm in the UK.
They're 39cm/nearly 15.5inches long maximum.
One is for earlier vehicles as has the grub screw, the other one is a later arm.
Am I right these are bay? Thanks.

Top one is 69-79 bay, lower one is 68 only bay. _________________ Rust NEVER sleeps and stock never goes out of style.

Thank you Sir, much appreciated
ID'ing these things is tough when all I have to go by is the length of the arm!

To split hairs there's two versions of the later style, 69-~73 used an acorn nut and the recess around where the nut goes is smaller, after that it used a plain nut and plastic cap. _________________ Rust NEVER sleeps and stock never goes out of style.

Thanks, very useful info. So it'd be safe to say that 74-79 features the plastic cover? Does the 69-73 not have the plastic cap on it at all?

No earlier ones had a decorative acorn headed nut, and a slightly shorter and thinner base on the arm.

Thanks guys, excellent info here I hope will be useful to others as well.
Lovely pics on your bulli.de website as well. Interesting to see the SWF non-VW part numbers on there, will be looking out for those from now if they're not patina'd up to the max and un-readable.
Safe to say mine are in rough condition compared to those lovely silver ones! |
