Long story short, my friends are on the road with their kids and one of the kidlets got a little over zealous and shattered the sliding window when he closed it. My buddy has sealed it up with a piece of cardboard for the interim, but is literally driving around the country (NY>GA>LA>WA>ID>IL>...) and is just starting their trip. From the little I have seen on the Samba replacing the piece of glass only is not doable? Any advise that I can pass on is welcomed. Incidentally, they'll be heading down 77 shortly. _________________ "You're either on the bus, or you're off the bus." ~kk

Salem Auto Imports off 85, Westy motorwerks or Asheville VeeDub, both in Asheville, might have used options and could provide guidance. Just offering suggestions that aren’t totally off route. _________________ 1991 Vanagon GL 2.1 AT Westfauxlia.
