Does anyone know how to get the chrome molding to sit flat on the car. IM trying to install and seem that the ends and some parts don't lay flat. Any help would be awesome. Are you suppose to bend the metal or the clips to hold tighter? |

Are you using original clips with the rubber “witches hat” on them? _________________ 67 zenith blue sunroof

Using silver clips the good ones that are raise a little on the slide on the molding.
seems that the door pieces and front are raised a little and don't sit right - thanks for the help |

And you have the rubber on them? You should feel a little snap or pop when you push them into the hole _________________ 67 zenith blue sunroof

Thank you for the reply yes the rubber boots are installed I can see that it will clip in but it's still raised on the edge and some other areas. I'm wondering if I need to bend the clips to make it a tighter fit. It's strange |

Eyeballing the curve of the hood, door, and quarter, before installing it, try to replicate that curve on the trim, applying gentle pressure to it by hand.
It should help it to sit more naturally to the curve, and therefor sit more flush.
Hope the above makes sense... _________________ WANTED: Henry Veale Santa Rosa plate frames
