Can anyone direct me to a decent resource (video if possible) or previous post on a step wise removal and proper clean and lube of the window regulator for a 1969 Fastback? I'm pretty clear on door panel removal. But specifically, not coming up with much on youtube as to the regulator. Any help is appreciated. _________________ Late 68-69, Type 3 Fastback, Automatic.

Take it apart and clean/lube everything.
You have wing window problems anyway.
I like to clean greasy parts in a drain pan with gasoline/tooth brush.
Clean out the drain holes in the bottom of the doors. _________________ https://imgur.com/user/FisherSquareback/posts

This one especially, as most of our cars have a layer of dirt along the bottom waiting for some water to keep it wet and start to rust. _________________ Bob 65 Notch S with Sunroof

After cleaning and reassembly, do a good job on the vapor aka plastic sheet. _________________ Volkswagen: We tune what we drive.

Got them out, nicely cleaned and lubed...wow what a difference. One of the tension coils still has sounds a little crackly for lack of a better word...sometimes it is what it is.
Many thanks for the input. _________________ Late 68-69, Type 3 Fastback, Automatic.
