yes, i read of your efforts with the nails. did you use them exclusively for the edges of the front panels?

I've use a brunch to apply the cement and not problem at all.
I just made sure the sand grit with 80 and clean the old glue and remove any dust before applying contact cement and everything went smoothly.

Here is the latest I had a beautiful original Kenzle dash clock and a spare glove box door for cabrio. So I decided the put a hol that door paint it and install the Kenzle clock.
I had these part for many years, and was able to install them yesterday.

the clock complement very well the overall oval cabrio dash.
It give a stylish touch to it.
