I had to purchase a used fresh air box for my 70 sedan due to the PO throwing the original away. It came with two cable clamps kind of like the one that holds the hood release cable from moving before the release lever hookup in the glove box. Does anyone know where and how attached these two cable clamps are secured to the back of the fresh air box? Also, I know there are supposed to be some push on metal disk that slide on the ends of the metal rods and plastic rods where the cables connect to the fresh air vent flaps and the air control mechanism that is controlled by the two interior knobs. These are to keep the little cable end looped wires from sliding off the metal and plastic rods that they they are slid over / hooked to. Anyone know what these are called and where I could possibly get some? |

Start at page 12 of the post below, it has good pictures of the fresh air system and how it goes together. I think it might answer your questions.
