Need some advice on what I may be getting into. My buggy has a rear disc brake set up-that I think the prev owner got from JC Whitney. Not sure.
The left caliper bracket (which looks like an L) has become loose and the caliper moves up and down a little and clanks, It can't fall off, but obviously needs tightening.
I guess I'll have to take the hub apart as the bracket is held on inside the hub..anyone got an idea on this? Is it just a bolt or two inside the hub that has become loose?
Never had a disc brake set up like this with this kind of bracket. is it likely I will find a part issue in there? |

If it were me, I would disassemble what ever is necessary and look at actual issue and if its just loose bolts, tighten them up.... _________________ “Fear The Government That Wants To Take Your Guns" - Thomas Jefferson.

On my (EMPI) set up it has 4 bolts that holds the bracket on through the bearing cap. It takes place of the backing plate from the drum set up. |
