hey Jehlan,

I too looked into this but at the time there were no compact wide 5 rims available that I could find but you
mentioned having 4 lug rims...

I guess you'd have to find a mini spare 4lug that fits that pattern, maybe a trip to a junk yard with a paper template so you could
size match and try one?

You wouldn't think 4 lug rims would be but so different in hub size but they could be.
maybe see if you can find what other car manufacturer rims can fit the 4lug pattern you have?

(Like Ford and Chevy 5 lug 50's to early 70's - close but not exact where Ford and Dodge had some interchangeability (or it was very close)
I don't know if VW had anything in common with another maker but I did a quick search and vw and mini cooper had some 4 lug stuff that was close but with some minor grinding it would work, mini to vw needed grinding, vw to mini the rim was a little loose.

Then I found this...don't' know if it will help..

https://free-info-pages.com/what-wheels-will-fit.htm

Hope this helps

T

Or how about a Mk3 GTI space saver spare (5x100) and an adapter in case you need it?
