VW Nationals is back again! The northeast's largest gathering of VW and Audi racecars coupled with a full car show, swap meet and hang out makes this a do not miss event! Located at Mason Dixon Dragway in Boonsboro Maryland.

The weekend starts Friday August 16 with a VW cruise in at Antietam Brewery, located 15 minutes from the track. Come enjoy food and craft beers in a low key environment. Approx 4pm start time.

While the cruise is happening, the gates open at 5pm over at the race track. This is where racers will be getting settled for Saturdays main event. Some racers will also making use of the track as there is an open test and tune, High Roller VW bracket race and a T.B.D

Saturday the gates open at 8am! The car show will be held on grass alongside the VW racer pits. Any attendee can grab a score card from the t-shirt tent and vote for their favorite show cars. There will also be "Best Of" awards. Votes must be in by 12 noon and awards handed out shortly after.

If you have a VW, Audi or Porsche powered OR bodied vehicle...we have a class for you! 1/4 mile and 1/8 mile. Heads up and bracket, this is the most variety of classes anywhere.

ASA-- 1/8th mile, heads up, air cooled, street legal vehicles (full rules available)

--All Motor-- 1/4 mile, heads up, VW, Audi powered, no power adders, door cars (full rules available)

--Limited Street-- 1/4 mile, heads up, VW, Audi, Porsche powered, stock style frame, functioning windows (full rules available)

--Super Pro-- 1/8th mile, bracket, 7.99 and faster dial in for VW and Audi powered vehicles.

--Pro-- 1/8th mile, bracket, 8.00 and slower dial in for VW and Audi powered vehicles.

--Super Stock-- 1/4 mile, bracket for any VW, Audi, Porsche powered OR bodied vehicle

Swap Meet is open to new or used VW/Audi parts vendors.

Car show is Top 20 plus a best Best Of awards, Kids Choice, Track Choice, Attention to Detail and a few others. We are working with the track to do some sort of car show winners parade and photos.
The "judging" is all done by show attendees. You can get a card and pencil at the car show registration booth, pick your favorite 5 and then all of it is counted and sorted electronically. Registration closes at 11, awards before 1.

When would the communication go out regarding the rain date? Saturday seems to be iffy but Sunday looks great weather-wise.

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO ATTENDED!!
Weather forecasts were flip flopping but we decided to keep on as scheduled and run it Saturday which was the best choice. The whole event got completed without any delays. Yes the forecast did affect our numbers some, but not a lot.

The volunteers, my family helpers and everyone who came through the gate made for a near flawless event.

See you all in 2025!
