Rebuild mine years ago, 1950 type 1, pretty straightforward. The one in the image you posted looks a little crusty - if frozen might be just be the shaft or the unfortunate bigger issue, obviously need to open the top cover and see what you’re dealing with.

There are two companies in the US that rebuild lever shocks - “Apple Hydraulics” located on the east coast, and “Five Points Classic Auto Shocks” located on the west coast. “Five Points Classic Auto Shocks” also carry bushing kits so I would assume they would have what you need to DIY, don’t know about “Apple Hydraulics”. I have not used either one of these companies.

Thank you for the help, I know how are working these shock absorbers
Mine were in very good condition but a bit leaking
I brang them to someone for a rebuilt job but unfortunately he forgot to mark the position of the arms on the axles before remove them.
So, I need to know how to fit them back properly in the right position for a barndoor.
Had searched a bit and it's not clear, look like beetle had a différent set up than busses
