|
|
I sanded all my doors etc back to bare metal en shot them with 2 coats of epoxy primer.
I know the blocksanding and surfacer steps for the outside of te doors but the inside just needs to be painted with no further straightening.
Can i just sand the epoxy on the inside with a 400-600 grit and paint it? _________________ '66 vw splitbus project:

De- grease everything with DuPont Prep- Sol or equivalent, Otherwise you may have a school of "fisheyes" lookin' back at you.

Epoxy doesn’t really sand once it’s past the re-spray window. It gets really hard and slick _________________ Robert in Memphis

most epoxy primers are meant only as a 'sealer' and most arent sandable with the exception of 80 grit to further prep surface for body work and 2k primer etc. I'd scuff it up with 80 and hit it with 2k then you can progress in grits to paint _________________ WANTED: 67 earlier Type 3 seats, Z rests |
