1. Are the 5 pop out to hinge screws to be painted frame color or are they zinc?
2. Are the 3 pop out latch to body screws to be 4mm oval head slotted screws or phillips? |

This doesn't prove anything about other years' but these are original '65 and '67 examples. These are bare steel. Part #28 here doesn't say. http://oacdp.org/5867part/455.png

Aren't they the same as the frame screws? M3.5 NOT M4??? |

I think he is thinking of the oversize screw size (M4x.70).
The original pop out frame to hinge screw size is: M3.5x.60 _________________ WANTED:

I'm going through this right now. I got my screws at https://www.mcmaster.com/92010A798/ - $3.38 for a box of 100
I prefer philips screws, but they also have slotted.

The weird-looking one is a cheap Chinese tap that snapped off in the hole.
